After 2 months I feel well enough to come with a new post. I hope I will succeed to post from now on more regularly.
This post is focussed on portraits from novices, young nuns and monks in Myanmar. They are quite willing to pose for a portrait but many times they are too shy and it takes some time to get them relaxed. Every time I come back I take prints with me and they are very proud when they get them.
In my portraits most of the time I don’t use flash because it disturbs too much the natural light conditions and the light differences. And because it is too much to carry a tripod all the time on my trips in the mountains I rely on the high ISO possibilities of my Nikon camera D3s.
